This will allow Workspace admins to colorcode their workspaces so that there is some quick unique identifying way to find a workspace, especially within larger organizations.
For example, you could make all accounting-esque workspaces some shade of blue, so you know to go to the "blue section" and then find the specific workspace. Instead of having the colors be random and no obviously apparent way to identify a workspace quickly
