As a developer, I want PrizmDoc to support Adobe XFA PDF documents

Currently, when loading an Adobe XFA PDF PrizmDoc displays a message from Adobe in the viewer saying 'If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document.'

I would like for PrizmDocto support the viewing and editing of these documents so that I do not have to use Acrobat Reader or recreate the file.

Adding more information regarding Accusoft not supporting Adobe XFA PDF.

There have been very few requests for XFA PDF support in PrizmDoc mainly because these file types are not frequently encountered by most customers and when they do, it's a single file issue that has been reported.

Because the need for XFA support is low, it doesn't make business sense to defer other feature work to add XFA support.

Finally the engineering cost to add XFA support and provide ongoing maintenance of this feature is extremely expensive and the cost can't be justifed.

Given the information above, there isn't a good business case for supporting XFA in PrizmDoc Viewer at this time.

This feature has been reviewed and the effort scoped. Unfortunately the effort and cost to implement is very high and we have no plans to move forward on this feature at this time.

If anything changes, we'll update this feature request accordingly.
