As a developer I would like viewercontrol.js to work in strict mode so I can use it as a JavaScript module or from the shadow DOM.

    We have work in our backlog to update the Viewer code to run in Strict Mode. I don't have a timeframe on when this work would be done but I'll update this request when it's scheduled.
