When burning PrizmDoc Viewer annotations into a PDF the markup burner API creates a layer consisting of PDF vector drawings. The Viewer also leaves all existing native PDF annotations in the source PDF. Since PDF rendering engines, including the one used by PrizmDoc Viewer, usually render all native PDF annotations on top of the vector content users cannot burn markup on top of native annotations.
